Hannah is a curious and empathetic documentary filmmaker, who recently graduated from the National Film & Television School (UK), with an MA in Directing Documentary. A self-shooting director from London, Hannah is looking to gain experience in the larger world of documentary filmmaking. Over the past few years, they have made documentaries for UK Broadcasters, including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, and Channel 5.

Selected credits include: Ellie Simmonds: A World Without Dwarfism? A primetime BBC1 documentary about British Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, Kathy Burke: Age A 2-part documentary for Channel 4, and Miriam’s Dickensian Christmas. A Channel 4 Christmas documentary about Dickensian Christmas hosted by Miriam Margolyes.

Hannah has also made several short documentaries about numerous subjects including religion and sexuality, belonging and community, gentrification, alcoholism, and sexual abuse.

Their passion for making documentaries stems from an intense curiosity about and empathy towards people, what makes them tick, and the desire to find out how their communities function.
