Hannah Skolnick Documentary Filmmaker

Hannah is documentary filmmaker from London.They graduated from the National Film & Television School (UK), with an MA in Directing Documentary. Over the past few years, they have made documentaries for UK Broadcasters, including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5. They have been screened at numerous festivals globally including Sheffield DocFest, Kendal Mountain Festival, Jerusalem International Film Festival, and UK Jewish Film Festival, and have been nominated for Best Documentary, at the Royal Television Society Student Television Awards 2022 for Last Orders.

Now returning to nature, Sheffield Ski Village was once the centre of a vibrant community of people who skied and snowboarded in a city without snow. Using evocative archival footage, interviews, and sound design this film will take you back to the world of the Ski Village, while contrasting this with the desolate hillside left today.
